Aloha Cafe Pinapple had hands down the best Loco Moco's on the Island in my opinion. Their reduction sauce is just SO DAMN GOOD. Everything was perfection, even their drinks were so refreshing and delicious. I really wanted to visit the restaurant again on my stay but never got the chance to do so. I highly recommend this place to everyone though! Service was also great and it's in a beautiful spot.
This place was great! Will definitely come back.I had a fresh pineapple juice and the choc, banana French toast. My partner had a cold brew with choc banana French toast. The juice was so fresh and delicious, served with ice and in a decent cup size. This French toast was long gone before I could take a photo. So much fruit, so much roast, deliciously cooked. The music is just classic after classic - ‘You’re so vain’ by Carly Simon, ‘Vienna’ and ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel.
I stopped by on my way back to Waikiki from Diamond Head. Açai bowl was very good, though I would have liked a bit more granola. The pineapple chunks were generous. Loved the mint. 10 for the serving, cheaper than elsewhere, but think a tad smaller, but perfect size for me. The açai was soooo cold and refreshing, had ice bite texture. I got a large iced coffee and the two came out to 14 - cheapest I’ve experienced. Cute, clean spacious place and nice people working. Highly recommend!
I had the French toast and coffee and my husband had a green smoothie. All super fresh and yummy. We stopped here on our walk over to Diamond Head, great stop to fuel up.
Amazing breakfast sando served as a plate, with high-quality eggs, bacon and bread. Friendly, efficient staff; lattes were flavorful but not overly sweet- perfection. Some free, covered parking behind the café including one ADA stall.
It was a lunch time visiting. I hiked the Diamond head. This cafe is the first place I met on the street, downside of the hill. I was thirsty and hungry. The cafe was like Oasis.Mochiko chicken was big moch look fried chicken.
While visiting, we asked our Yoga instructor to recommend any places to eat and she suggested here. The food and service was so incredible! Definitely will be coming if I visit Honolulu again. Thank you!
Drove by diamond head and ran across this coffee shop. Aloha Cafe Pineapple is just minutes away from Diamond head crater.Try the Honey Macadamia nut iced latte. Perfect drink right after you hike diamond head. They also serve various breakfast and lunch entrees in addition to baked goods like malasadas and fruity drinks.Decent amount of seating inside and couple tables outside to enjoy.Parking is limited to street parking and maybe a spot on premise so can be difficult to find parking.
